The Nucleus Accumbens is located at the base of the forebrain



A collection of neurons that is thought to play multiple roles in reward, pleasure, addiction, fear and laughter

The word accumbent is defined as lying down or leaning against something in a position of comfort. Therefore, recognize Nucleus Accumbens as a resting or lying down body of neurons that engage in happy fearfull and addicitve behaviors. The main point of this Mnemonic is to vision a body of neurons like a body of inviduals engaging in various behaviors.
